This bus was a California bus its entire life until I purchased it 2 years ago and had it shipped to the east coast. It still has the original California black plates issued to it when it was new. The bus was completely restored in 2016 with rotisserie paint and body work. The bus was completely rust free and needed very little work. Before I purchased it all suspension components were redone and upgraded. The bus has been lowered in the front with 4" narrowed adjustable beam and drop spindles. It was also upgraded with disc brakes in the front. The rear had new drop plates installed. It is currently running reproduction BRM Flat 4 rims that are 17" x 8" this gives a really good look and stance. My family and I have been on many road trips and it is very comfortable to ride in with all 4 of us. A new 1600cc engine was recently installed and only has a few miles on it. The clutch was also replaced when the engine was installed. It has been broken in and provides plenty of power to drive even at highway speeds. The interior has been redone as well and shows nicely. It has a new headliner and the seat covers are fresh as well. The rear seat does fold into a bed and a pop up table folds out of the side wall. retractable seat belts are also installed front and rear for safety. The radio consists of a Retro Sound head unit that has the look of the original unit. It has front and rear Rockford Fosgate speakers and an 8” subwoofer for a very nice sound. All and all this bus needs nothing but to be driven, the only reason we are selling is to move on to other projects.
